Hidrogea and the Campillo de Adentro Resident's Association contribute to combatting climate change
The Campillo de Adentro Residents’ Association and Hidrogea organised a tree planting in the area, to help improve the local environment.
The activity, which lasted all morning and brought together a large number of residents and volunteers from the company, ended with a traditional dish of migas for everyone attending, courtesy of the residents’ association.
Hidrogea donated 300 cypress trees, which were planted to repopulate the least-protected areas, creating a natural barrier against solar radiation and water and wind erosion.
This is an environmental improvement action by the Cartagena complete water cycle management company, and is part of its corporate responsibility policy to help meet the goals set by the United Nations in the joint fight against climate change.
